Forsyth Park Destination Wedding in Savannah, GA | Claire + Corey

After going to college and spending most of their lives together in Savannah, GA — Claire and Corey knew exactly what they wanted for their destination wedding in the city. Strolling through the Savannah historic district, where they lived, was their favorite thing so for their ceremony sight, they absolutely knew they wanted the epic and known Forsyth Park Fountain that is located in the heart of Savannah’s historic district. The Forsyth Park is full of beautiful greenery and Spanish moss hanging from all of the trees, the little old buildings surrounding it gives that nostalgic feeling. I love how Claire thought about incorporating these details into their watercolor invitation! After their ceremony we walked a common path they used to do when living there and captured photos of the couple all over the historic district — my favorite part. Their reception took place at the South Soho Cafe, a venue located just a couple blocks from Forsyth Park with a eclectic industrial design with lots of colors and also very yummy food! Claire and Corey’s wedding told a story about their love how they went through their journey together and it also gave an opportunity for lots of their loved ones to experience it as well — including us! Savannah is a beautiful city that we would go back in a heart beat.

Enjoy our favorites of this day — it’s a long one.
