Frequently Asked Questions

and the not so frequent ones too.

  • — I'm based in Lowell, Massachusetts and I serve the Boston area and all New England states.

I’m absolutely willing to travel anywhere though! Take me to California or Scotland, wherever your love takes you, my passport is ready for it!

Travel within New England has an hourly travel fee of $65 an hour. Every travel quote is customized, so just email and we can talk about all details.

  • – I’ve worked with photography professionally for 12 years. Got my first camera when I was only 18 years old and never looked back. I’ve worked in two completely different wedding industries - Brazil and USA.

My business became a full time job in 2016 and since then, I’ve shot 75+ weddings and elopements as the main photographer and also countless sessions.

  • – My husband Chris comes with me for most weddings and sessions. He will be either second shooting or assisting me throughout the day. I trained him to be my second photographer right in the beginning of my business, so he’s really good at knowing what I need and want. He’s amazing at what he does and is really easy going, you’ll definitely enjoy his calming presence.

  • – I think my style is romantic, timeless and a bit editorial. My editing style is warm, moody and vibrant and it purposely supposed to remind you of a vintage old photo from your grandma’s keepsake or maybe even a renascence painting . My goal is to create photos that are also pieces of art and will look wonderful hanging on your walls.

  • – My pricing really depends of each couple needs. My elopement packages start at $2.200 for 2 hours of coverage; intimate wedding packages start at $3.500 for 4 hours of coverage; my highest package is $6.500 and includes 8 hours of coverage and lots of add ons; sessions start at $850 for 1 hour of coverage at one location.

Most couples customize their packages by adding extra hours, printed photos, second photographer and albums. Couples invest between $2.200 - $3.500 for elopements $4.650 - $6.500 for weddings. You can find my pricing information here.

  • – The short answer is YES. I take about around 4 or 5 big weddings (with 75-100+ guests) a year.

Since the pandemic hit, I’ve been dedicating more time into intimate weddings and elopements. BUT I also LOVE the energy of big weddings and all that comes with it - from getting ready to dance floor. That being said, I take a just few big weddings a year and I tend to be very selective with those (I’ll give preference to couples I connect with the personalities, aesthetics that I would enjoy photographing, venues I’ve always wanted to shoot at or even out-of-country weddings).

Feel free to inquiry to know more about my availability for big weddings.

  • – Yes! Of course. It’s so important to have insurance to protect me and you as well. Let me know if your venue needs a certificate of liability and I’ll send it to them!

  • — Absolutely! I have several wedding and engagement galleries to share with you that display different scenarios, locations, weather and couple’s styles. Just ask me and I’ll be happy to show you a few of them

  • — Since editing photos is the most time consuming part and I want to make sure every photo is perfect and cohesive with the full gallery, so it takes between 1-2 months for sessions , 2-3 months for elopements and 3-5 months for weddings.

During busy season (May through November) it can take a little longer. But don't worry, I will send you a sneak peek within a few days from your day!

  • — I believe in quality over quantity but basically all of the good images are yours!

To put a number in, usually I deliver about 50-60 photos per hour contracted. So you will receive an average of 600-800 photos for an 8 hour coverage wedding, anywhere between 200-500 photos for an elopement and 100+ photos for engagements/couples sessions.

  • — Yes, all of them are edited with my editing and coloring style you see all over my portfolio. This is my favorite part and where I get to be even more creative, so all of your photos will be edited with a mix of color and black and white and the style you see on my portfolio and social media.

I do not release any RAW images in any circumstances.

  • – No. This is my art so the photos you see on my portfolio and social media represents my current style of editing and shooting.

If you like my photos but my colors/style aren’t exactly what you’re looking for, I’d suggest you to continue looking or I can also recommend other photographers in the area that have all sorts of styles.

  • — I use professional Nikon DSLR & mirrorless cameras. I have several Nikon prime lenses to go with those and I have backups of my cameras and most used lens.

I also have high quality memory cards, flashes, lights, prisms, filters and other things to spicy up the photos - including a 35mm film and Polaroid instant film camera.

  • – Definitely! I have a list of a bunch of incredible vendors I have worked with before - from makeup artists, to DJs and even caterers. I’d be super happy to send the list over to you to help you plan!

  • – Of course! I believe your memories should be printed and preserved for future generations and there’s no better way than beautiful prints and albums.

Once you receive your gallery, you can order prints straight from it without having to contact me.

If you want a personalized album, you can reach it out to me and I’ll give all the information about how to order.

  • — I shoot all weddings and sessions with 2 cameras and both cameras have dual memory card slots (that means your photos are being automatically backed up as I shoot and I’ll have two copies of your photos by the end of the day).

When I get home from a job, I usually download all RAWS from the cards into my main hard drive and once it’s done, I’ll make a copy to another hard drive and then an online back up as well.

After all of this, I’ll save one of the memory cards in a card labeled wallet and I won’t format until all photos are delivered to you.

The program I use to edit photos allows me to create “small” copies of each image while I edit. So I’ll have low res copies as well. This is just another safety precaution I take.

At the end, I’ll have 4 copies of your wedding in high resolution and 1 copy in low resolution.

  • – Of course. The answer is always YES. I love dogs. I want to meet your fur child, capture your memories with them and eternalize your love in photo form.

“The photos have a magical, moody quality that elevates them beyond mere documentation to real art. We will treasure them forever. Highly recommend.”
