Well, let’s just say I have extensive experience and have shot over 75+ weddings and elopements solo since starting my full time business in 2016. I’ve been in the wedding industry since 2011, when little baby me had just got her first camera and within months I was already shooting weddings for other peer photographers, this means I have experienced two different very wedding industries, in two also very different countries. How cool?! Also I’ve shot so many weddings as a second photographer as well that I also know what they need to do and be ready, so I trained my own second photographer (my husband) and he knows everything I need and the way I’d do things.

Years of experience made me obsessed with light and it’s beauty. I love exploring and I know lighting like the palm of my hand. During a wedding day, we can experience several different light situations — harsh sunlight, dark ceremonies, candle lit dinners, artificial lighting, sunset and I could go on. It’s extremely important to know how to use light when shooting a wedding and I know exactly where to find the little pocket of beautiful light that will make your entire photo be a piece of art.

I’m really chill and flexible, I don’t mind if plans change and I’ll always encourage you to do what you want. According to several couples, I also have a calming presence and most times feel more like a friend, just hanging around taking photos, than an actual paparazzi photographer. I’ll make friendly small talk with your family and tell your mom how cool you are and how lucky I am to be there for you!

I consider myself a creative mind and I’m really good at posing and giving my couples prompts to do for photos. I hear ALL THE TIME that my couples look so relaxed and themselves in their photos and that’s literally all I’m trying to do. I’ll guide you around and definitely tell you what to do with your hands, where to sit, where to look at and melt the awkwardness away. And of course, I’m a pro at capturing all of the in between special moments you’ll not notice until you see a photo of it.

Let’s just say I know all of the ins and outs of a wedding day. I can and will absolutely build a timeline of your day based on just a few key events and make sure we have plenty of time for the good couple’s portraits.

I’ll also curate the perfect non-boring family photo list to get them done even faster. I’m really good at wrangling family members to get portraits done within just a few minutes and not drag it for an hour of smiles and sore cheeks. I always hear “WOW you’re really fast with this” and I always respond with “I think I’ve done this a few times”.

I’m really always prepared. I have a vast knowledge in pinning boutonnières, keeping an eye on the weather and be always ready to pull my cute umbrellas, have a mini towel to dry the ends of your bouquet, clean your glasses when they get greasy, remove a stain from your clothes and I could go on. I’m there for you and I want you to feel confident that anything minor will get fixed on the spot.

I freaking love editing my couples photos — I’m a little slower than most photographers but I take pride in that because I really put all my energy and effort to make every photo perfect for you. I have been mastering the skill of making every photo cohesive and tell a story of your day flawlessly. I’m also very good at making unwanted objects, trash on the ground, distracting things, spots, sunburn and pimples simply disappear!
